Ramen shop pays loving attention to every single item in the dish. It is a NO FAIL Ramen destination. Any day of the week, you can close your eyes and put your finger down on the menu. Wherever your finger lands, it will be delicious; order it! I've eaten here a half-dozen times and they impress me at each meal. These are not college kids microwaving Styrofoam containers in a microwave. These are chefs! Yesterday, I tried the Shishido peppers and maitake mushroom tempura. It was a 10! My guest shared with me her Tsukune Don (fried rice, chicken skewer and assorted vegetables) It was rich and densely flavorful. The chicken was so rich, I thought it was pork. Let me say, I am NOT a vegetarian. My motto is, "Good is Good"', I don't care what it is. For the first time, I had the Myer Lemon Vegetarian Ramen. What impresses me most is that the flavors are balanced. There is the right amount of soy and shoyu to make a rich and flavorful vegetarian broth. Roasted eggplant, pearl onions and wilted greens were gently arraigned around the bowl of house made noodles. I was, as always, completely satisfied.

Ramen Shop is not your standard ramen restaurant, it's much better! For those who complain about how expensive this place is there is a simple answer: quality. Sure, you can have cheaper ramen in many other places in town but are you aware that Ramen Shop actually selects certain type of organic ingredients based on seasons? Their menu is unique and simple at the same time, with many appetizers and three main ramen dishes to choose from. My favorite remains the Miso based ramen. I have tried ramen in various locations throughout Japan and the consistency and quality found at Ramen Shop is in my opinion very high. It feels more like a lounge than a restaurant, and for this reason I always prefer sitting indoor but they have also outdoor tables on the street. Please try the black sesame ice cream sandwich, delicious!

Trendy spot with great ambience, cocktails, and tapas. Ramen was just ok (and expensive) but I really liked our duck fried rice and the mushroom tempura was amazing. Cocktails were creative too! We live walking distance so we'd probably come back It was packed at 8pm on a Friday so I recommend reservations!

This spot was everything and more, great ambience, food was on and services was spot on. So we got the dumplings (never new I like dumplings, I liked theirs), the pork and duck fried rice (FIRE) and their tradition pork ramen (FIRE as well) and of course some Hella Strong Saki. If your like me and have slept on the spot for years then you should awaken and come get some of this good food. Owe also the music was on point too. A+ for me Brotha S Approved
